GoldAge Kick-off Meeting Held in Zagreb
From February 15 to 17, 2025, we at HAŠK Mladost had the pleasure of hosting the first in-person meeting of the GoldAge project – MULTISPORT TRAINING PROGRAM FOR PHYSICAL ACTIVITY FOR ADULTS 60+ – in Zagreb, Croatia.
GoldAge is an 18-month program co-funded by the Erasmus+ program of the European Commission, designed to promote sports and physical activity among older adults. The project is implemented by three members of the European Multisport Club Association (EMCA), led by Levski – Sport for All in partnership with HAŠK Mladost (Croatia) and Fondazione S.S. Lazio 1900 (Italy).
During the meeting, representatives from Levski – Sport for All, HAŠK Mladost, and Fondazione S.S. Lazio 1900reviewed the project’s key objectives, defined the main steps, assigned responsibilities, and approved a timeline for implementation. We also discussed the project’s communication strategy, best practices for training older adults, and the development of materials for training trainers.
As part of the gathering, we organized a visit to the town of Samobor, a charming historical destination near Zagreb, known for its cultural heritage and active sports scene. The town is a popular choice for Zagreb residents looking to enjoy trekking and relaxation.
We look forward to the next steps in the GoldAge project and will continue working towards making sports and physical activity more accessible for adults aged 60+.
