EU TEQ GAMES Project Kick-Off Meeting

On January 31, 2023, the pre-kick-off meeting for the EU Teq Games project took place at the Mundo-B Meeting Center in Brussels. This meeting marked the official start of the project, aiming to bring together all partners to discuss and align on various aspects of the project.

Meeting Agenda Highlights

1. Welcome Address: The meeting began with a welcome address by Martijn Looren De Jong from EMCA, setting the tone for the collaborative efforts ahead.

2. Introductions: Each partner introduced themselves, providing a brief overview of their roles and contributions to the project.

3. Presentation:

  • TEQ Sports: Andrea Paolini and Gabriella Bascelli from SS Lazio Teqball gave an insightful presentation on TEQ sports, highlighting its potential and the objectives of the project.
  • Project Outline: The presentation also covered the project outline, detailing the goals, expected outcomes, and key milestones.

4. Communication & Dissemination:

  • Logo and Visual Design: Christina Tsiligkiri discussed the logo and visual design, emphasizing the importance of a cohesive and recognizable brand for the project.
  • Dissemination Plan: The dissemination plan, including the website and internal communication platform, was reviewed to ensure effective information sharing and outreach.

5. Any Other Business: The session concluded with an open floor for any additional topics, allowing partners to raise concerns or suggestions.

Project Communication and Task Allocation

During the meeting, significant emphasis was placed on establishing an effective communication strategy for the project. A dedicated internal communication platform was proposed to facilitate seamless interaction among partners. Regular updates, shared documents, and project progress will be managed through this platform.

Each partner was assigned specific tasks to ensure the project’s smooth progression:

  • EMCA: Coordination and overall management of the project.
  • SS Lazio Teqball: Leading the sports-specific aspects and training sessions.
  • HAŠK MLADOST: Managing local events and workshops in Croatia.
  • Feyenoord Foundation: Overseeing community engagement and outreach programs.
  • Aalborg Boldspilklub: Handling equipment logistics and setup.
  • SC Levski Sport for All: Focusing on inclusive sports initiatives.
  • Olympiacos SFP: Promoting Teq sports within Greece and supporting regional activities.
  • Malta Teqball ASD: Organizing training camps and certification processes.

This structured approach ensures that all aspects of the EU Teq Games project are meticulously planned and executed, with each partner contributing their expertise to achieve the project’s goals.
