On May 18, 2024, Zagreb’s European Square was filled with excitement as more than 120 children officially took part in the EU TeqGames Open Day.

The Open day of Teq sports in Zagreb took place outdoors in collaboration with the Croatian Teqball Federation, and besides the registered participants, many passers-by stopped to watch, ask questions, and even join in on the fun!

Children and youth aged 6 to 17, mostly boys, took turns on the courts, eager to try something new. They played Teqball, Teqvoly, Teqpong, Teqis, and Qatch.

Although we were constantly on the move, we managed to squeeze in a short lecture on nutrition. We also distributed over 300 leaflets with nutrition tips for both children and adults.

In total, around 100 kids and teens actively participated, while another 50 adults joined various activities. Parents received advice on the importance of physical activity, and we also touched on mental health, balanced nutrition, and how sport can positively impact the whole family.

A glimpse of the atmosphere was captured on video thanks to EMCA, who created a fantastic video showcasing the energy of the event. We also filmed an interview and a promo video that will make you want to grab a ball and start playing!
