Nutrition plays a crucial role in the life of every athlete. Proper nutrition can significantly enhance sports performance, ensure faster recovery, and reduce the risk of injuries. Our catalog offers accessible guidelines specifically tailored for teenagers, to help them understand the importance of healthy eating habits.
In the “Good Ideas – What You Can Eat and Drink” section, we emphasize the importance of drinking plenty of water, especially water enriched with natural flavors like fruit. We recommend healthy snacks that are not only tasty but also provide essential proteins and healthy carbohydrates, such as carrot sticks, apple slices, nuts, and yogurt. These foods not only support a healthy lifestyle but are also easy to prepare and ideal for a busy sports schedule.
On the other hand, in the “Not So Good Ideas – What Not to Eat or Drink” section, we advise avoiding sweet and salty snacks, soft drinks, and artificially sweetened sports drinks. These foods can negatively affect an athlete’s energy and recovery, and long-term health.
We also encourage the use of reusable water bottles and food containers to reduce plastic use and help protect the environment. Our goal is to educate and inspire young athletes to make healthy and sustainable choices that will support them in their sports activities and everyday life.
