DigiRoot meeting in Sant Cugat: final steps and campaign preparation

Sant Cugat, 19 March 2026

As part of the EMCA Assembly held in Sant Cugat, near Barcelona, partners of the DigiRoot project gathered for a working meeting to align on the final phase of the project.

The meeting focused on reviewing the current progress and defining the last steps needed for the successful completion of the project. Partners discussed key deliverables, timelines, and final adjustments to the platform, with the aim of ensuring high quality and long-term sustainability of the project results.

A special focus was placed on communication activities in the final phase, particularly on the upcoming digital campaign aimed at increasing awareness of the DigiRoot platform and tools among sports organisations across Europe. The campaign will highlight the importance of digital transformation in sport and encourage clubs to explore and use the resources developed within the project.

Participation in the EMCA Assembly also provided an opportunity to exchange experiences with other multisport organisations and strengthen collaboration at the European level, further positioning DigiRoot as a relevant initiative in the field of sport digitalisation.

As the project approaches its conclusion, partners remain focused on ensuring that the developed tools and knowledge continue to be accessible and valuable to sports organisations beyond the project’s lifetime.
