GoldAge Project Concludes with Final Meeting in Sofia

The GoldAge project, dedicated to promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles among older adults aged 60 and above, has officially come to an end with its final project meeting held on 9 May 2026 in Sofia, Bulgaria.

The meeting brought together representatives of all project partners to review the project’s achievements, evaluate the activities implemented throughout its duration, and discuss the sustainability of its results and opportunities for future cooperation. Alongside the project coordinator Levski, representatives of HAŠK Mladost and the Italian partner Lazioalso participated in the meeting.

Throughout the project, the partners worked together to develop initiatives encouraging older adults to engage in regular physical activity, adopt healthier lifestyles, and remain active members of their communities. Through international cooperation, the project enabled the exchange of experiences and good practices among partner organisations while highlighting the important role of sport and recreation in supporting healthy and active ageing.

The final meeting in Sofia provided an opportunity to reflect on the successful implementation of the project, share experiences gained throughout the partnership, and discuss how the developed resources, knowledge and outcomes can continue to be used beyond the project’s official completion.

HAŠK Mladost would like to thank all project partners for their excellent cooperation and commitment throughout the project. We believe that the results of GoldAge will continue to contribute to promoting active and healthy ageing while encouraging even more older adults to participate in sport and recreational activities.
